Working with a functional medicine practitioner is different from a rushed 10-minute visit. Here’s exactly what to expect.
The process
1. Book a consultation
Choose a time that works for you. Your first visit is a full conversation — history, symptoms, lifestyle, and goals.
2. Get a personalized plan
Together, you and Kristin look at the whole picture — including targeted lab work where appropriate — and build a plan around root causes, not just symptoms.
3. Heal with ongoing support
Kristin’s follow-up visits track your progress and adjust your plan as your body responds. You’re never doing this alone.

Frequently asked questions
What is functional medicine?
Functional medicine is an approach that focuses on identifying and addressing the underlying factors that contribute to how you feel — looking at the whole person rather than treating symptoms in isolation.
Do you accept insurance?
Regen Holistics is a cash-pay practice, which lets us keep visits unrushed and focused entirely on you. Affordable financing is available through CareCredit, a third-party healthcare credit option, so cost doesn’t have to stand between you and getting started. Depending on your plan, some insurance companies also allow you to submit claims independently for reimbursement — we’re happy to provide the documentation you’d need and point you in the right direction.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes. Visits are offered via secure telehealth, so you can meet with Kristin from wherever you’re comfortable. Clinical care is currently available to patients located in New York and Florida, and Kristin is actively expanding licensure to additional states. Health coaching programs are available nationwide, no matter where you live — ask about your state at your discovery call.
How long is the first visit?
Your first visit is a discovery call — a 15 to 30 minute consultation focused on getting to know you: what you’re feeling, what might be driving it, and what your goals are. It’s a conversation, not a commitment — you’ll leave knowing whether this is the right fit.
